Tehran: Massoud Pazshikan won the presidential election of Iran
According to a foreign news agency, in the second phase (run-off) of the Iranian presidential election, the reformist candidate Masoud Pazshikan was elected the new president with 1.63 million votes, while his opponent, the reactionary Saeed Jalili, was able to get 1.35 million votes
The Iranian Ministry of Interior announced the victory of Masoud Pazshikan and said that Masoud Pazshikan has won the majority of votes
Masoud is a surgeon and lawmaker by profession and wants good relations with Western countries
